Terms of Service

These terms govern accounts, music submissions, livestream reviews, payments, payouts, and use of Music Review Buddy.

1. Agreement and eligibility

Music Review Buddy is operated by TM Studioz LLC. By creating an account, hosting a session, purchasing a submission, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy and Refund Policies. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly notify us of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts used for fraud, abuse, infringement, payment manipulation, or violations of these Terms.

3. Artist submissions

You may submit an eligible music or music-video link or upload an audio file to a review room. You represent that you own the submission or have all permissions required to submit it for review, playback, and discussion. You grant Music Review Buddy and the selected livestreamer a limited, non-exclusive license to store, access, play, display, and discuss the submission solely to operate, document, and promote the requested review.

You remain responsible for your music and do not transfer ownership to us.

4. Reviews and expectations

Music Review Buddy organizes submissions and payments but does not control a livestreamer’s opinions. Reviews may be favorable, unfavorable, critical, or brief. Purchasing Skip or V.I.P. placement buys queue priority according to the session settings; it does not guarantee a positive review, a specific review length, followers, streams, sales, playlist placement, record-label interest, or other results.

5. Streamer responsibilities

Livestreamers must accurately describe session availability and pricing, review paid submissions they accept, comply with applicable laws and platform rules, protect private submissions, and avoid deceptive, discriminatory, or abusive conduct. Streamers are responsible for their broadcasts, statements, third-party platform accounts, and tax obligations.

6. Payments, fees, and payouts

Paid submissions are processed by Stripe. Before checkout, artists see the submission price, optional add-ons, Music Review Buddy artist service fee, and final total as separate amounts. The livestreamer share is 90% of the submission price and streamer-provided add-ons. Music Review Buddy records the remaining 10% plus the disclosed artist service fee as platform revenue. The artist service fee is not included when calculating the livestreamer’s 90% share.

Stripe processing fees, refunds, disputes, reserves, taxes, and account restrictions may affect actual balances and payout timing. Livestreamers must complete Stripe verification before receiving payouts. Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Experimental AI-origin signals

Any AI-origin score or signal is experimental pattern analysis, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and is not proof that a song was or was not created with artificial intelligence. It must not be treated as an automatic rejection, authorship determination, legal conclusion, or accusation.

8. Prohibited use

You may not submit unlawful, infringing, threatening, deceptive, malicious, or privacy-violating material; impersonate another person; manipulate queues or payments; introduce malware; scrape or disrupt the service; attempt unauthorized access; or use the service to harass artists, streamers, or staff.

9. Intellectual-property complaints

If you believe content submitted through Music Review Buddy infringes your rights, contact us with your name, contact information, identification of the work and material, the reason for your claim, and a statement that the information is accurate. We may remove or restrict content while reviewing a complaint.

10. Third-party services

The service relies on third parties such as Stripe, Google, Supabase, and livestream platforms. Their separate terms and privacy practices apply. We are not responsible for outages, account actions, content, or policies controlled by those services.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, review outcomes, earnings, audience growth, or the accuracy of experimental signals. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TM Studioz LLC and Music Review Buddy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, data, opportunities, or goodwill arising from use of the service.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Kentucky, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the service changes. Continued use after an updated effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Questions may be sent to musicreviewbuddy@gmail.com.
