Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Music Review Buddy is a music-submission and livestream review service operated by TM Studioz LLC (collectively, “Music Review Buddy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy applies when you visit musicreviewbuddy.com, create an account, host a review session, submit music, or use related services.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:

• Account information: name, email address, profile details, social handle, authentication provider, and account role.
• Submission information: artist name, song title, genre, social handle, contact information, music or video links, uploaded audio files, optional messages, selected submission tier, and review status.
• Livestreamer information: session settings, pricing, queue decisions, saved songs, review outcomes, connected payout-account status, and related activity.
• Payment information: transaction amounts, payment status, refunds, disputes, Stripe transaction identifiers, and payout records. Full card and bank credentials are collected and handled by Stripe, not stored by Music Review Buddy.
• Technical information: browser and device information, IP address, logs, session data, security events, and cookies or similar technology needed to keep you signed in and operate the service.

3. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; operate submission rooms and priority queues; deliver songs to the selected livestreamer; process payments, refunds, fees, and payouts; provide optional AI-origin pattern analysis for uploaded audio; provide support; detect fraud or misuse; maintain records; improve reliability; and comply with legal obligations.

4. How information is shared

Submission details and the submitted song are shared with the livestreamer hosting the room you choose. Reviews may occur publicly on third-party livestream platforms. We also share information with service providers that help operate Music Review Buddy, including Supabase for accounts, databases, and file delivery; Stripe for payments and payouts; Google for optional sign-in; Modulate for AI-origin audio analysis when a scan is requested; and website hosting and security providers. The uploaded audio is sent securely from our backend for analysis and the API key is never exposed to the browser. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer.

We do not sell personal information for money.

5. Uploaded music and public reviews

Private audio uploads are delivered through controlled links to authorized users for the review workflow. If AI-origin analysis is enabled for the session, an uploaded audio file may also be processed by our analysis provider to return an experimental probability score. The score is not proof of authorship and does not automatically reject, remove, or reorder a submission. A song, artist name, social handle, and comments may become public when a livestreamer reviews the submission. Do not submit material or personal information you do not want included in that review.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain transaction and dispute records, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and meet legal or accounting obligations. You may request account or personal-data deletion by contacting us. Some payment, security, and legal records may be retained after an account is deleted where permitted or required.

7. Security

We use access controls, row-level database protections, signed file links, encrypted connections, and specialized payment providers to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect their passwords and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

8. Your choices

You may update certain profile information through your account and may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and necessary recordkeeping. You can choose email/password or Google sign-in. You may disconnect Google access through your Google Account settings.

9. Age requirement

Music Review Buddy is intended only for people age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date at the top will identify the latest version. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email.
