Refund Policy
Paid placement should lead to the promised review. This policy explains when Skip and V.I.P. purchases qualify for a refund.
1. Free submissions
Free Line submissions do not involve a payment and are not eligible for a monetary refund.
2. When a paid submission qualifies
A Skip or V.I.P. submission qualifies for a refund when:
- the livestream review session is cancelled; or
- the session ends and the paid track was not reviewed.
If the same review is promptly rescheduled, the artist may choose to keep the paid placement for the rescheduled session instead of receiving a refund.
3. When a paid submission does not qualify
A paid submission is not refundable after the track review begins. Refunds are also not provided because an artist disagrees with the review, receives an unfavorable reaction, expected a longer review, did not receive a desired promotional result, voluntarily withdraws after placement, submits an unusable or unauthorized link or file and does not correct it, or is removed for violating the Terms of Service.
4. Requesting a refund
Contact musicreviewbuddy@gmail.com with the artist name, song title, review-session name or date, purchase email, and a brief explanation. Do not send card or bank numbers. We may verify the session and payment record before approving the request.
5. How refunds are issued
When a paid submission qualifies for a full refund, the full checkout total—including the artist service fee—is returned through Stripe to the original payment method. If a partial refund is expressly agreed to, the approved amount will be shown in the payment record. Banks and card issuers control when the credit appears, so timing can vary after the refund is submitted. Music Review Buddy cannot redirect a refund to a different card, bank account, or person.
6. Duplicate or incorrect charges
Contact us promptly if you believe you were charged more than once or charged an amount different from the checkout total. We will review the payment record and correct confirmed billing errors.
7. Chargebacks and disputes
We encourage users to contact support first so we can investigate. This does not limit any rights provided by applicable law or a card issuer. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in account restrictions.
8. Policy changes
The policy in effect at the time of purchase generally applies to that transaction. We may update this policy for future purchases by changing the effective date above.
